Video editor in Washington state. Eleven-plus years cutting professionally, currently lead editor for a video podcast post-production studio, where I edit, set editorial standards, and back a team of editors.

Experience

Most of what gets shot, I've cut: video podcasts, branded content, ads, short-form social, explainers and tutorials, event recaps, corporate video, interviews, testimonials, weddings.

Craft

Sound: audio enhancement, sound design.

Picture: color correction, b-roll, composition.

Motion: titles, graphics, overlays, transitions.

Structure: multi-cam, story development.

The skill under all of them: knowing what to leave out.

Method

The footage is what it is. The job is finding the story inside it. I've edited, produced, and shot. I know what each seat needs from the others, and I cut accordingly.
